Bill Macdonald
Caretaker of the Kennebunks

HomeCheck in Maine began eight years ago offering homeowners in the Kennebunks a comprehensive white-glove property management service. We fulfill the need for reliable, professional caretakers specializing in personal property management for second homeowners and year-round residents who travel. As the only service of it’s kind in the area, the reaction has been excellent, the business is growing, and customers couldn’t be happier.

About Bill Macdonald

I grew up in Winchester, Massachusetts, and graduated from Boston University. From Boston, I moved to Stowe, Vermont to raise my family and pursue a career in the furniture industry, eventually becoming the founder and president of Vermont Table & Chair Company. I have built, renovated, and maintained both primary and second homes in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Martha’s Vineyard, and Maine. Since 1999, my wife and I have called our circa 1783 house in Kennebunk home. I am an active participant in the community and currently serve in the following capacities:

  • Chairman of the Kennebunk Zoning Board of Appeals
  • Member of the Kennebunk Economic Development Committee
  • Member of the Mathew J. Lanigan Bridge Replacement Committee
This is the bridge between Kennebunk Lower Village and Kennebunkport Dock Square.
