Village Tavern

Village Tavern, Kennebunk's best-kept secret! Owned and operated by Rich Lemoine, former Executive Chef at Cape Arundel Inn and White Barn Inn, and his wife Tina, this is a great place to go in West Kennebunk Village. Head to the Turnpike, but go straight at Cummings Market, the Tavern is 1/4 mile on your left, impossible to miss. Note: go early, before 6, or late, after 7:30, it gets busy. Like Anthony Bourdain's TV show—No Reservations.

Fun to See and Do

The Bridlepath, owned by the Town of Kennebunk, runs from the Sea Road School, plenty of easy parking by the trailhead, all the way down to Rte. 9, across 9, and through some tidal (passable) territory, and back to Sea Road by Webhannet Country Club’s back 9. Down & back is about 4 miles, very flat easy walking, and very quiet, one of the best kept secrets in Kennebunk, also, one of the most beautiful walks you will ever take, as the trail runs along the Mousam River. There are map stations at the trailheads at Sea Road, and Rte. 9.
